i started reading & then writing my blog due to my research in blogs about pregnancy. this was before we decided to be pregnant, and i wanted to find an honest look about pregnancy.

great parenting
don't get me wrong. i had a great mom!!! i miss her dearly. especially these days when i'm about to become one.
of course i have no idea what i'm facing w/ a 1day old, much less a 6 year old.
but somehow, i think this actual conversation might should've gone a different way:
me- Laur? how do you get puppies?
L- same way you get people.
um... do you know what a boy has?
yes??
know what a girl has?
(fear sets in) yes
???well,???
(terror).....they touch???
yes.
NUH-UH, LAUR. YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO BE NASTY!!!! i'm telling!!! mommy and daddy wouldn't do that. MEG wouldn't do that!!!
................... mom comes to do laundry. it's probly 10 at night.
L- no i'm not. ask mom.
mom- ask mom what??
L- mom, tell m how you get a baby.
...............(silence ensues).................................
mom- shuttup and get to sleep!
